Graphics Cards Benchmarks. What does it mean by benchmarking of graphics cards? Graphics cards are a computer hardware which is used to render graphics on a video monitor. All the graphics that you see on monitor is rendered by graphics cards. All the computers be it desktop or laptop, all have graphics cards because all of them render graphics on a computer screen. But, different graphics cards have different capabilities and to test a graphics card for these capabilities is called graphics card benchmarking. Benchmarking of different graphics cards help in comparison of graphics cards so that we can compare between graphics cards and decide which one we need. Depending on the quality of graphics cards, some graphics cards can produce better images or videos on the computer screen or play some games better while some graphics cards are useless for playing latest computer games.
